Lately I’ve been having trouble estimating the right amount of food to make for the # of clients & staff we have at work. Sometimes I make way too much & leftovers get wasted, other times people are complaining that we run out too early. There are a lot of factors at play here, such as # of staff eating each day varying, and having trouble keeping track of how many people’s kids are visiting on a given day, but it’s bugging me that I’m having so much trouble with it. And I feel horrible when we run out of something. Kinda feels like I’ve lost my mojo.
So I’ve been wanting to do a drawing to vent about this:
This is really how my shopping cart looks, pretty much every week. But with even more bananas than I drew. And in real life the bananas aren’t on top because I do produce first. I put the bread on top 🙂 But bananas are more fun to draw than bags of bread.
That’s supposed to be spaghetti on the fork. Kind of turned out looking like a bloody bandage instead. Oh well.
