Hypothetical weekend mnfringe schedule

For those of you who already expressed interest in coming to see a fringe show with me, and for those who have not yet expressed this but are keeping it bottled up inside for whatever reason, here are my potential (not set completely in stone) plans for these first couple days of fringe:

Tonight, Friday, it’s all about Uptown.

5:30

15 Shows at Minnesota Fringe that will make your brain sparkle.

My favorite piece of paper ever.

August has arrived.

A Heart and a Yam

New painting started and finished all in one day yesterday.

Placemaking Block Party Details

The first block party for the Central Corridor Friendly Streets Initiative is tomorrow!

summery summary

summary of weekend:

  • didn’t know what to do with myself
  • walked around lake calhoun (pretty sure every other person who lives in Minneapolis also did this at some point this weekend)
  • tried not to be too whiny, but kind of failed.

the case of the mistaken facebook identity

I have been procrastinating all over the place this week.

I saw a centaur this weekend…and other news.

I sent out a new email newsletter on Friday with more details about summer projects!

Hmm, I may have gotten slightly carried away tonight playing with Photoshop while trying to concoct a new website header image:

wheeeee! can you pick out which elements are from which painting?

It’s weird how the pieces of paintings became like characters in a little theatrical play as I moved them around.

And to prove even further that my paintings are like my little offspring, I did the mom thing today where you lick your finger and use it to scrub a smudge off your kids cheek – to the painting I’m currently working on. And hey, it worked pretty well! Moms are so smart.

Flowers are Red

I’m having a lot of walk-down-memory-lane moments lately.
